President Donald Trump has brought justice to the Chrisley family by announcing pardons for unfairly targeted reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley.
Watch the video down below.
Known for their hit show “Chrisley Knows Best,” the couple will soon be freed from their lengthy prison sentences handed down after what their attorney called a politically motivated prosecution.
President Trump revealed his plans to pardon Todd and Julie, who were convicted in 2022 of bank fraud and tax evasion.
The announcement marks a dramatic turn for the reality TV family that has maintained their innocence despite serving prison terms of 12 years for Todd and 7 years for Julie.
The president personally called the Chrisleys’ children, Savannah and Grayson, from the Oval Office to deliver the life-changing news.
During the emotional call, President Trump assured the family that their parents would soon be “free and clean.”
He added, “We’ll try getting it done tomorrow, so give them—I don’t know them—but give them my regards and wish them well. Wish them a good life.”
A grateful Grayson responded, “Mr. President, I just want to say thank you for bringing my parents back.”
The moment represents a tremendous relief for the family that has been torn apart by what many see as excessive punishment for financial crimes.
White House spokesperson Harrison Fields emphasized that President Trump is “always pleased to give well-deserving Americans a second chance, especially those who have been unfairly targeted and overly prosecuted by an unjust justice system.”
The Chrisleys’ attorney, Alex Little, stated that the pardon corrects an injustice stemming from political bias against the family’s conservative values.
This claim was amplified when Savannah spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention.
There, she argued that her parents had been targeted specifically because of their conservative beliefs.
Even the legal system seemed to acknowledge issues with the case when the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found a legal error in Julie Chrisley’s sentencing and sent it back for resentencing, though the court upheld the convictions themselves.
The pardons come as part of President Trump’s broader commitment to addressing what his supporters see as politically motivated prosecutions.
The president has already issued pardons and commutations to thousands during his presidency, including participants in the January 6 Capitol protests.
The Chrisleys were convicted of defrauding banks out of over $36 million and evading $500,000 in taxes. They were ordered to pay $17.8 million in restitution.
Despite these serious charges, many supporters question whether the severe prison sentences matched the nature of their financial crimes, especially considering the politically charged atmosphere around their case.
President Trump’s intervention demonstrates his commitment to protecting Americans from what many conservatives see as weaponized government agencies that target individuals based on their political beliefs.
For the Chrisley family and their supporters, this pardon represents not just freedom but vindication against a system they believe treated them unfairly.
