Tech mogul Elon Musk is showing his true colors, turning against President Donald Trump now that he lost his advisory role within the administration.

Specifically, the billionaire blasted the president’s massive tax-cut bill, calling it a “disgusting abomination” that will lead to “debt slavery” for America.

Musk urged Americans to “KILL the BILL,” as he says it adds trillions to the national debt.

Musk’s dramatic opposition to President Trump’s signature economic legislation comes just after he left a temporary role in the administration.

The tech mogul took to his social media platform X with an urgent message for Americans: “Call your Senator, Call your Congressman. Bankrupting America is NOT ok!”

The bill, which has already passed the House of Representatives, would extend the 2017 tax cuts.

According to estimates from the Congressional Budget Office, it would also add a staggering $2.4 trillion to U.S. deficits over the next decade.

It also phases out the $7,500 electric vehicle tax credit by 2025, which will directly harm Musk’s Tesla business.

Musk’s fierce opposition has created an unusual alliance with fiscal conservatives in the Republican Party.

Representative Thomas Massie supported Musk’s stance, stating: “He knows if America collapses financially, we aren’t making it to Mars. He’s right.”

Several Republican senators, including Ron Johnson, Rick Scott, and Rand Pau,l have also voiced concerns about the bill’s astronomical costs.

Paul has threatened to vote against it if it raises the debt ceiling, which the current proposal would increase by $4 trillion.

“Elon was not important at all as far as this conversation goes,” Senator Roger Marshall said dismissively, revealing the establishment’s frustration with Musk’s interference.

House Speaker Mike Johnson has publicly rebuked Musk’s criticism, telling reporters, “I think he’s flat wrong. I think he’s way off on this, and I’ve told him as much, and I’ve said it publicly and privately.”

The harsh response underscores the Republican leadership’s determination to push through President Trump’s economic agenda despite growing opposition from fiscal conservatives.

“If Elon was going to give me advice on how to get to the moon, I’d listen. If he was going to give me advice on how to raise several billion dollars from other billionaires, I’d listen,” said Sen. Kevin Cramer.

“But he doesn’t govern. To be honest, he’s just not that big a factor,” the senator added.

Beyond the EV tax credits, Musk also opposes the bill’s elimination of clean energy and solar tax credits, which he argues are crucial for American energy independence.

His criticism reportedly includes frustration that the Federal Aviation Administration is not using his Starlink technology for air traffic control systems.

The billionaire has suggested drafting an entirely new spending bill that does not significantly increase the deficit or debt ceiling.

He has even gone so far as to suggest primary challenges for Republicans who supported what he calls a “disgusting abomination” of legislation.

President Trump has remained silent on Musk’s criticism so far, creating uncertainty about whether the administration will modify the bill to address fiscal concerns or forge ahead with the agenda regardless of any opposition.
