(DailyEmailNews.com) – Striking a decisive blow against illegal immigration, President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to cut off taxpayer-funded benefits for those who enter the country unlawfully.
This bold move aims to protect citizens’ interests and uphold the rule of law while sending a clear message to those who seek to exploit America’s generosity.
The executive order directs federal agencies to identify and terminate taxpayer-funded benefits for illegal aliens.
It also blocks funds supporting sanctuary policies that undermine federal immigration enforcement efforts.

The order comes in response to what President Trump slammed as the Biden administration’s expansion of benefits to illegal aliens, which undermines federal law.
It references the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, which prohibits illegal aliens from obtaining most taxpayer-funded benefits.
According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), an estimated $66.5 billion is spent annually on costs related to illegal aliens and their children.
FAIR President Dan Stein praised the order, stating it will “deter illegal immigration and protect the interests of the American people.”
“It is clear that access to the vast array of public benefits that have been made available to illegal aliens has been a driving force behind years of record illegal immigration and the crushing burdens it has imposed on American taxpayers,” Stein added.
The executive order establishes a team of federal officials, including the Office of Management and Budget director and the Department of Government Efficiency administrator.
Both officials will identify federal funding going to illegal aliens and recommend actions to stop it. Violations will be reported to the Homeland Security and Justice departments for action.
Leading the Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk has been tasked with overseeing the initiative to curb unnecessary benefits distribution.
President Trump has praised Musk and his team for their role in effectively implementing his executive orders.
“President Trump is committed to safeguarding Federal public benefits for American citizens who are truly in need, including individuals with disabilities and veterans,” a White House fact sheet stated, highlighting the administration’s focus on protecting vulnerable Americans.
