ICE Shocks Sanctuary State – 370 Arrested!

(DailyEmailNews.com) – Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has taken the sanctuary state of Massachusetts by surprise with the bombshell arrests of 370 illegal aliens.

Presiden Donald Trump’s border czar Tom Homan announced the news following a targeted enforcement operation.

The crackdown focused on dangerous criminal aliens, gang members, and fugitives who had been allowed to roam free due to sanctuary policies that put American citizens at risk.

The six-day operation was a collaborative effort between ICE and federal agencies, including the FBI, DEA, ATF, DSS, and CBP.

This whole-of-government approach demonstrated the Trump administration’s commitment to enforcing immigration laws despite resistance from liberal state and local governments.

Of the 370 individuals arrested, 205 had significant criminal convictions or pending charges.

The operation specifically targeted members of notorious gangs, including MS-13, Tren de Aragua, Trinitarios, and 18th Street.

All of these groups are foreign criminal organizations that have established footholds in American communities while sanctuary policies shielded them from deportation.

The enforcement action yielded substantial seizures of deadly narcotics that would have otherwise made their way onto American streets.

Law enforcement confiscated around 44 kilograms of methamphetamines, 5 kilograms of fentanyl, 1.2 kilograms of cocaine, and three firearms with ammunition – further evidence of the public safety threat posed by these criminal aliens.

“These arrests included 6 foreign fugitives, including four who were wanted for murder or to serve a criminal sentence for murder, along with drug traffickers, child sexual predators and numerous other violent public safety threats,” Homan stated.

Particularly troubling was ICE’s revelation that many arrests were made after local jurisdictions refused to honor immigration detainer requests.

The operation exposed the dangerous consequences of Massachusetts’ sanctuary policies, which have allowed violent criminals to be released back into communities.

Among those arrested were individuals charged with heinous crimes, including manslaughter and homicide.

Six were foreign fugitives wanted for serious crimes in their home countries, including four facing murder charges.

These dangerous criminals had been allowed to remain in Massachusetts communities due to sanctuary policies that prioritize illegal aliens over citizen safety.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Boston acting Field Office Director Patricia H. Hyde said:

“The Commonwealth is a safer place for our residents to live and work because ICE and our federal law enforcement partners arrested hundreds of alien offenders and removed them from the streets of Massachusetts.”

Despite the clear public safety benefits of the operation, liberal politicians opposed the enforcement action.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu defended the city’s sanctuary policies. At the same time, the ACLU of Massachusetts criticized the operation and urged state lawmakers to pass legislation to further obstruct federal immigration enforcement efforts.

U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts Leah B. Foley cut through the political noise, saying:

“Everyone should agree that we cannot and will not tolerate individuals who not only violate our immigration laws but then commit crimes that endanger our communities. Those who enter and remain in this country unlawfully are breaking the law.”

The successful Massachusetts operation demonstrates that when federal immigration authorities are allowed to do their jobs, American communities become safer.
