WAR UPDATE: ‘The Air Force Is Our Iron Fist’

(DailyEmailNews.com) – In a massive update of their defensive war efforts, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) was prepared to face any situation.

During his visit to the Ramat David Airbase in the Jezreel Valley, Netanyahu stated, “The Air Force is our iron fist which knows how to hit the soft underbelly of our enemies. The ground crews, pilots and commanders here are doing heroic work.”

“They have proven this time and again and if we need to—we will prove it again even more vigorously,” Netanyahu added.

In his discussions at the airbase, Netanyahu met with key military figures, including IAF Chief of Staff Brig. Gen. Omer Tischler, Air Defense Array Commander Brig. Gen. Gilad Biran, other high-ranking officers and technical teams.

Accompanied by chief of staff Tzachi Braverman, military secretary Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman and spokesperson Omer Dostri, Netanyahu took a look at a display of the base’s combat systems, which showcased both attack helicopters and jets.

The IAF’s role has been significant, as its jets have performed thousands of sorties in regions including Gaza and Lebanon throughout the ongoing conflicts of the past ten months.

Netanyahu also met with families of Hamas hostages and fallen soldiers and stated he was committed to achieving a truce “that will allow a maximum number of captives to be released in the first stage of the deal.”

He also said that any agreement would have to allow Israel to keep control over strategic areas in Gaza.

Highlighting recent military successes, Netanyahu noted the elimination of top Hamas leader Mohammed Deif and the capture of key locations such as the Rafah Crossing and the Philadelphi Corridor along the Gaza-Egypt border.

“The main thing: to eliminate Hamas and achieve victory. We are approaching it step by step,” Netanyahu expressed as he assured the victim’s families of continued actions to dismantle Hamas’s military capabilities.
