Specifically, Smith & Wesson publicly thanked Elon Musk for standing up for constitutional rights.
This move comes after Facebook shockingly suspended the firearms manufacturer’s account, sparking outrage among patriots and gun rights advocates across the nation.

Facebook suspended Smith & Wesson’s account for an unlimited time after 15 years of operation.
The company had done its best to comply with Facebook’s ever-changing community guidelines on firearms.
However, these attempts proved meaningless against Big Tech’s relentless assault on conservative values and constitutional freedoms.
Facebook’s parent company, Meta, later claimed the suspension was an “error” and restored the account.
But the damage was already done, exposing the platform’s bias against gun manufacturers and Second Amendment supporters.
In response to this alarming act of censorship, Smith & Wesson took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their gratitude to Elon Musk.
“In an era where free speech and the right to bear arms are under constant attack, we want to thank @elonmusk and @X for supporting free speech and our constitutional rights guaranteed by the 1st and 2nd Amendments,” Smith & Wesson wrote.
Musk quickly responded to Smith & Wesson’s appreciation, restating his commitment to the Constitution and even restoring the gun emoji on X.
The National Association for Gun Rights also thanked Musk for providing a safe haven for those who cherish the Constitution in the face of increasing threats from other tech companies.
Founded in 1852 and now based in Maryville, Tennessee, Smith & Wesson has long been a symbol of American freedom and self-reliance.
With $535.8 million in sales for the 2024 fiscal year, the company’s success is a testament to the importance of the Second Amendment in American society.
