(DailyEmailNews.com) – In a bold declaration of his intent to dismantle what he sees as a weaponized justice system, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has vowed to fire Special Counsel Jack Smith if re-elected.

During an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, Trump left no room for ambiguity about his plans for Smith, who Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed to investigate Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results and his alleged mishandling of classified documents.

“Oh, it’s so easy. It’s so easy,” Trump declared. “I would fire him within two seconds.”

Trump’s unwavering stance against Smith comes as no surprise to his supporters, who have long viewed the special counsel’s investigations as part of a larger effort by the political establishment to undermine the MAGA movement.

“I wouldn’t keep him. Jack Smith? Why would I keep him?” Trump stated.

Meanwhile, Trump’s promise to fire Smith aligns with his broader campaign narrative of combating what he calls the “Deep State” and standing up for the American people against entrenched bureaucrats.

Despite facing charges in Smith’s election subversion case, including conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and obstruction of an official proceeding, Trump remains defiant.

He has labeled Smith as “the most evil person” and “a sick puppy,” reflecting the intense animosity between the former president and those investigating him.

Moreover, when asked about the possibility of impeachment for firing the special counsel, Trump responded, “No, I don’t think they’ll impeach me if I fire Jack Smith. Jack Smith is a scoundrel. He’s a very dishonest man, in my opinion, very dishonest man.”

“We had a brave, brilliant judge in Florida. She’s a brilliant judge, by the way. I don’t know her. I never spoke to her. Never spoke to her. But we had a brave and very brilliant judge,” he continued.

Trump’s praise for U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, who dismissed the classified documents case, underscores his belief in the righteousness of his cause and the perceived injustice of the investigations against him.

As the 2024 election approaches, Trump’s promise to fire Jack Smith has become a rallying cry for his supporters.

It represents not just a legal strategy but a symbolic gesture of defiance against what many conservatives view as politically motivated persecution.
