(DailyEmailNews.com) – The reckoning has finally come for figures including Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden after President Donald Trump decided to strip them of their security clearances.
The sweeping action targets Democrats who undermined his first administration and removes their privileged access to national security information.
Political insiders are calling this a long-overdue move that levels the playing field after Biden similarly denied President Trump intelligence briefings in 2021.
Issued through an official White House memorandum, the presidential directive affects more than a dozen former Biden officials in addition to Harris and Clinton.
The order effectively ends their access to classified briefings, secure government facilities, and sensitive intelligence information that former officials typically retain as a courtesy after leaving office.
“I have determined that it is no longer in the national interest for the following individuals to access classified information,” President Trump stated clearly in the memo.
The list of affected individuals reads like a who’s who of the political establishment that has worked against President Trump and America First policies.
It includes former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and former Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco.
President Trump also targeted Republican critics who sided with Democrats against him, including former Representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, who participated in the partisan January 6th committee.
The president’s directive specifically orders executive departments and agencies to “revoke unescorted access to secure United States government facilities for these individuals.”
This effectively ends their behind-the-scenes influence on current administration policy and prevents them from accessing sensitive information without proper supervision.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard had already begun this process earlier in the month.
The move follows the precedent set by Biden himself, who broke with tradition in 2021 by stripping then-former President Trump of access to intelligence briefings.
President Trump cited this action as justification for his current directive, implementing reciprocal treatment for his political opponents.
Legal opponents who have targeted President Trump with politically-motivated prosecutions were also included in the security clearance revocations.
New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who mounted legal witch hunts against the president, will now find themselves cut off from classified information.
Several partisan attorneys involved in lawsuits and investigations against President Trump, including Norm Eisen and Andrew Weissmann, also lost their clearances.
These individuals have consistently used their positions and access to undermine the Trump administration.
While critics predictably cried foul, many conservative commentators praised the move as necessary housecleaning after years of intelligence community abuses.
The action sends a clear message that the politically motivated weaponization of America’s intelligence apparatus against citizens and elected officials will no longer be tolerated.
By rescinding these clearances, President Trump has taken concrete steps to drain the swamp and restore integrity to America’s national security institutions.
After years of intelligence leaks and partisan abuse of classified information under previous administrations, this action represents a return to proper oversight of sensitive materials vital to America’s security interests.
