Trump Slams Fraud Case

( – Amid his firm fight against the Democratic-led witch hunts targeting him for being the favorite to win this year’s election, former President Donald Trump criticized the New York civil fraud case against him in social media posts.

In a burst of online activity, Trump labeled the case as a “fabricated election interference con job” shortly after managing to post a court-mandated $175 million bond.

His statements came on Truth Social, he denounced New York Attorney General Letitia James, who initiated the lawsuit, and Judge Arthur Engoron, both Democrats.

He wrote:

“I’ve just posted a 175 Million Dollar Bond with the sadly failing and very troubled State of New York, based on a Corrupt Judge and Attorney General who used a Statute that was never used for this before, where no Jury was allowed, my financial statements were conservative and had a 100% perfect caution/non-reliance clause, there were no victims (except me!), there was no crime or damage, there was only success and HAPPY BANKS.”

“The case was a fabricated ELECTION INTERFERENCE con job, so bad for New York, where businesses are fleeing & violent crime is flourishing,” Trump continued.

He also added, “The Crooked Judge, to suit his narrative, valued Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, at $18,000,000, when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount. He ruled I was guilty before he ever saw the case.”

Right before his post, Trump complied with a court order to post bond, which effectively stalled James’s collection of a $464 million penalty while his appeal is underway.

This judgment, initially set at $355 million plus accruing interest, stemmed from Engoron’s February ruling, which found Trump and his associates guilty of inflating his net worth for financial gain—a decision that Trump firmly denies.

As Trump navigates these legal fights, including the financial strain imposed by additional bond requirements from separate legal battles, he called these challenges a direct attack by his opponents on his political aspirations in order to crush his campaign efforts.

“Also posted a 91 Million Dollar Bond on another New York Fake Case, money I can’t use on my campaign. Just what Crooked Joe wanted. WITCH HUNT!” he stated.
