Trump Makes Offer to Biden

( – Confirming he is full of energy for a second round, former President Donald Trump challenged Joe Biden to an immediate rematch following their first presidential debate.

Speaking to supporters at his Trump National Doral Miami resort, Trump proposed a second debate to give Biden a chance to “redeem himself.”

“So tonight, I’m officially offering Joe the chance to redeem himself in front of the entire world,” Trump announced.

He added a playful twist by suggesting Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Representative Byron Donalds, both present at the rally, could act as referees for this proposed debate.

“Let’s do another debate this week so that sleepy Joe Biden can prove to everyone all over the world that he has what it takes to be president,” Trump stated. “But this time it will be man to man. No moderators, no holds barred. Just name the place anytime, anywhere.”

Senator Rubio, who spoke before Trump and is rumored to be a finalist for the presidential ticket, was reportedly the only vice presidential candidate in attendance.

During his speech, Trump commented on the large media presence, hinting they might be anticipating a major announcement.

“They’re probably expecting me to announce Rubio as vice president,” he joked, acknowledging the heavy press turnout.

Trump is set to announce his vice-presidential pick before the upcoming Republican National Convention starting Monday in Milwaukee.

Trump also brought up a lighter challenge issued during their initial debate on June 27—a golf match.

Reflecting on Biden’s comments about playing golf and carrying his own bag, Trump said he was skeptical about Biden’s golfing skills and laid out a high-stakes challenge.

“Sleepy Joe also declared that he wanted to test his skills and stamina against mine on the golf course. Can you believe this? Did you ever see him swing?” Trump teased.

He proposed an 18-hole golf match and said it could “be among the most watched sporting events in history, maybe bigger than the Ryder Cup or even the Masters.”

He said he would give Biden an advantage and that if the Democrat won, Trump would donate $1 million of his own money to any charity Biden wanted.
