(DailyEmailNews.com) – Drawing a clear distinction between patriotic Americans and potential threats from radical elements, GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump predicted chaos on Election Day.
In an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, Trump addressed security concerns while emphasizing the need to protect America from dangers that could disrupt the democratic process.
Trump made it clear that the real threat to America’s security does not come from law-abiding citizens exercising their right to vote.
“No, I don’t think [so],” Trump responded when asked about potential unrest from his supporters. “Not from the side that votes for Trump.”
Instead, Trump highlighted a more pressing concern: the enemy within. He pointed out that radical left elements pose a significant threat to election integrity and public safety.
“I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people. Radical left lunatics,” Trump told Bartiromo.
Recognizing the potential for disruption from these radical elements, Trump proposed a strong, decisive approach to maintaining order.
He suggested that the National Guard or even the military could be deployed to ensure a smooth and secure election process if necessary.
“We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical-left lunatics, and I think … it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard, or if really necessary, by the military, because they can’t let that happen,” Trump said.
Trump’s confidence in his supporters came amid discussions of a thwarted Election Day terror plot by an Afghan citizen with ISIS ties.
His bold stance on election security also aligns with his broader vision for a safer, more secure America.
While critics may attempt to twist Trump’s words, his message is clear: law-abiding Americans have nothing to fear, but those who seek to disrupt the election and threaten public safety will be met with a firm response.
