(DailyEmailNews.com) – The lamestream media is facing a reckoning after President-elect Donald Trump filed a massive $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the New York Times and CBS for bias.
This legal action exposes the media’s relentless attempts to undermine Trump’s presidency and influence elections.
The lawsuit also targets false reporting and manipulative editing that may have swayed voters against Trump.
Trump’s attorney Edward Andrew Paltzik sent a scathing letter to the New York Times and Penguin Random House, demanding $10 billion in damages for “false and defamatory statements.”
Only recently made public, the letter was sent before the presidential election and criticizes the NYT for its blatant bias and acting as a “mouthpiece of the Democratic Party.”
Paltzik said: “There was a time, long ago, when the New York Times was considered the ‘newspaper of record. Those halcyon days have passed.”
The lawsuit specifically targets stories by Susanne Craig and Russ Buettner related to their book “Lucky Loser: How Donald Trump Squandered His Father’s Fortune and Created the Illusion of Success.”
It also mentions articles by Peter Baker and Michael S. Schmidt that defame Trump.
As expected, the New York Times stood by its reporting and has referred Paltzik to Penguin Random House regarding the book-related accusations.
However, media bias does not stop in print. Trump’s legal team is also suing CBS for $10 billion over a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris for being misleading.
The lawsuit accuses CBS of manipulating news to favor Harris and engaging in voter interference.
“To paper over Kamala’s ‘word salad’ weakness, CBS used its national platform on 60 Minutes to cross the line from the exercise of judgment in reporting to deceitful, deceptive manipulation of news,” the lawsuit read.
The lawsuit focuses on two deceptively edited video clips from an October interview with Harris.
CBS News denied the allegations, claiming they are “completely without merit” and that the interview was presented fairly. However, their track record of biased reporting against Trump speaks volumes.
“The press is doing everything within their power to fight the magnificence of the phrase, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump stated.
