Trump Gets HUGE News

DONALD TRUMP

(DailyEmailNews.com) – The battle for the presidential election is taking yet another twist as Republican nominee Donald Trump received huge news in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania.

According to the latest RealClearPolitics polling average, Trump is now ahead of Kamala Harris by a slight margin of 0.2%.

This shift comes after a series of back-and-forth leads between the two candidates since Joe Biden exited the race on July 21.

Biden’s exit was prompted by weeks of turmoil within the Democrat Party after a lackluster debate performance against Trump.

Party leaders mounted a vocal campaign against Biden to get him off the ticket due to abysmal poll ratings.

Biden then anointed Harris as his successor, who saw a honeymoon period in polls in the lead-up to the National Democrat Convention.

Harris previously held a 0.2-point advantage over Trump in Pennsylvania, but the latest polls have swung in Trump’s favor just 47 days before Election Day.

The turning point came with a recently released new InsiderAdvantage poll, which showed Trump leading Harris 50% to 48% in Pennsylvania.

Just a day before, a USA Today poll had Harris ahead by 3 points, but that lead has now flipped.

Other recent surveys included in the RealClearPolitics average have shown the two candidates in a dead heat.

The state of Pennsylvania, with its 19 electoral votes—down one from the 2020 election—plays a crucial role in the presidential race.

Trump had a 4-point lead here just after Biden’s withdrawal, but Harris caught up by August 16.

She even surpassed Trump by August 30 with a lead of 0.8%, maintaining at least a tie until this latest update.

According to RealClearPolitics, Harris still leads Trump nationally, with scores of 49.3% to 47.3%.
