(DailyEmailNews.com) – Democrats thought Tim Walz could propel Kamala Harris’ floundering campaign, but they encountered a walking political landmine instead.
During a gathering California Governor Gavin Newsom hosted, Walz recently advocated for eliminating the Electoral College.
This alarming proposal quickly caught the attention of conservative commentator Mark Levin, who warned of the dire consequences such a move would have on America’s political landscape.
Levin argues that abolishing the Electoral College would effectively allow Democrats to hand-pick the president.
“If we didn’t have the Electoral College, 11 states would decide who the president is. Thirty-nine other states would be irrelevant,” Levin explained on his show.
This shift would devastate rural communities and industries vital to the nation’s economy and security.
But the threat does not stop there. Levin warns that the Democrat Party’s agenda extends beyond dismantling the Electoral College.
They also seek to eliminate the filibuster, which would enable the rapid passage of left-wing laws without meaningful opposition.
This coordinated assault on American institutions aims to secure a permanent Democrat stronghold on power.
Perhaps most alarmingly, Levin reveals that Democrats might attempt to bypass constitutional amendments by granting statehood to the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
This plot would add four likely Democrat senators to Congress, potentially preventing Republicans from ever regaining a Senate majority.
The implications of these proposed changes are staggering. As Levin describes it, a potential Harris-Walz administration could permanently alter our voting system.
Essentially, Democrats would effectively disenfranchise millions of Americans and undermine the delicate balance of power enshrined in the Constitution.
While proponents of these changes argue they are necessary to address loopholes in the electoral system, critics reveal them as an evident power grab.
For instance, the recently passed Electoral Count Reform Act of 2022 allegedly seeks to clarify the Electoral College process.
However, it may open the door to further manipulation by limiting state legislatures’ ability to address election fraud.
