(DailyEmailNews.com) – Exposing alarming vulnerabilities at President-elect Donald Trump’s Florida estate, a Chinese national has repeatedly tried to breach security at Mar-a-Lago.
39-year-old Zijie Li has been arrested multiple times for trespassing as part of a troubling pattern of intrusions by Chinese nationals at Trump properties.
Li was in the U.S. on a student visa from California and first attempted to enter Mar-a-Lago on July 19, shortly after an assassination attempt on Trump.
Although he was issued a Secret Service trespass warning and was later ordered to stay 500 feet away from the property, Li kept trying to gain access.
Li’s case took an even more sinister turn. He claims to have information about China’s involvement in an assassination attempt on Trump.
Whether true or not, this allegation underscores the potential national security implications of such breaches.
In the aftermath of the repeated offenses, an officer stated:
“The Palm Beach Police Department, in speaking with the United States Secret Service, believe that with the increased attempts by Li to gain entrance into Mar-a-Lago in an effort to make contact with the President Elect that another incident with Li could result in the necessity to use an escalation of enforcement.”
The fact that Li was able to make multiple attempts to enter Mar-a-Lago, even after being arrested and warned, reveals troubling gaps in the security protocols.
Even more concerning is that this is not an isolated incident. In 2019, Chinese national Yujing Zhang was arrested and later deported for a similar offense at Mar-a-Lago.
These repeated intrusions by Chinese nationals raise questions about potential coordinated efforts to compromise the security of Trump’s properties and gather sensitive information.
In the meantime, security measures at Mar-a-Lago have increased to include barricades, cones, signage, checkpoints and even restricted water zones enforced by the U.S. Coast Guard.
