(DailyEmailNews.com) – The Biden-Harris administration’s latest attack on GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has reached a new low.
A federal judge has ordered the U.S. Army to release records of Trump’s visit to Arlington National Cemetery, bowing to pressure from a left-wing group.
Caving to demands from the so-called “watchdog” group American Oversight, U.S. District Judge Paul Friedman has instructed the Army to produce “responsive, non-exempt records” by Friday.
The records in question relate to Trump’s August 2023 visit to Arlington, where he paid respects to the 13 U.S. troops killed in the Kabul airport terror attack.
Critics accuse Trump of “politicizing” the ceremony even though the families of the deceased service members actually invited Trump.
“They tell me I used their graves for public relations services and I didn’t,” Trump remarked during a rally.
Although American Oversight claims there’s a “compelling public interest” in these records, critics argue that the radical left’s goal is to find any shred of information to smear Trump before the election.
“With the election just two weeks away, the American people have a clear and compelling interest in knowing how the government responded to an alleged incident involving a major presidential candidate who has a history of politicizing the military,” the group’s interim executive director Chioma Chukwu stated.
Led by House Representative Jamie Raskin, Democrats continue to press for full disclosure of the Army’s findings.
