The heated exchange exposed the lamestream media’s efforts to protect the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous border policies.
The Republican vice-presidential nominee fearlessly confronted CBS News moderators Margaret Brennan and Norah O’Donnell when they tried to fact-check his statements about the impact of illegals on Springfield, Ohio.
Himself a staunch conservative, Vance refused to back down from his assertions about the strain the influx of illegals has placed on local resources.
The debate took an unexpected turn when Vance highlighted the consequences of the Biden-Harris administration’s open border policies.
He pointed out that “millions of illegal immigrants” were affecting Springfield, Ohio, emphasizing how American citizens’ lives were being “destroyed by Kamala Harris’s open border.”
As Vance spoke truth to power, moderator Margaret Brennan attempted to undermine his claims by suggesting that many Haitian migrants in Springfield have legal status.
Despite the blatant attempt to soften the impact of illegal immigration, critics of the current administration highlight the problems unchecked migration has caused regarding schools, hospitals and housing.
The clash reached a boiling point when the debate producers muted the microphones in an attempt to silence Vance’s words.
“The audience can’t hear you because your mics are cut,” Brennan smugly announced, revealing the lengths to which the media will go to control the narrative and protect the Biden-Harris administration’s failed policies.
GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to call out the moderators.
“Margaret Brennan just lied again about the ILLEGAL MIGRANTS let into our Country by Lyin’ Kamala Harris,” he wrote, “and then she cut off JD’s mic to stop him from correcting her!” Trump’s words resonated with millions of Americans tired of media manipulation.
