(DailyEmailNews.com) – The government’s long-held dismissal of UFO sightings is unraveling as the Pentagon reveals a staggering 700+ new reports, fueling concerns of advanced technologies lurking in our skies and possibly even the existence of “aliens” in the universe.

The Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has reported over 700 sightings of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) from May 2023 to June 2024.
These reports came from military personnel, the Federal Aviation Administration, and other sources.
A total of 757 UAP encounters were assessed, with 485 occurring during that one-year period and an additional 272 dating from 2021-2022.
Many sightings remain unexplained, pressing the need for ongoing investigation.
Amid the influx of reports, recent years have seen heightened scrutiny of aerial anomalies.
During a Capitol Hill hearing, allegations surfaced that the U.S. government possesses advanced technologies beyond human capabilities.
Despite conjecture, AARO has found no conclusive evidence linking these sightings to extraterrestrial beings or technology.
Several of the reports involved U.S. military pilots being shadowed by mysterious UAP.
Alarmingly, 18 sightings near critical U.S. nuclear sites were identified as drones of unclear origin.
Though these encounters pose potential security hazards, AARO maintains that these activities are not linked to foreign adversaries and continue to explore the perplexing phenomena.
“U.S. military aircrews provided two reports that identified flight safety concerns, and three reports described pilots being trailed or shadowed by UAP,” says the Pentagon report, cited by The Washington Times.
The Pentagon continues to take a more serious stance on these investigations, shifting from previously dismissals to proactive research.
This change in behavior underscores a recognition of the potential security implications these enigmatic occurrences may represent.
Some significant previous sightings remain unexplained, such as the notorious 2004 “Tic Tac” incident, leaving open questions about the true nature of these phenomena.
“We don’t fully understand the phenomenon enough to say whether or not it’s breakthrough technology,” Jon Kosloski, director of AARO, told reporters on Thursday, cited by The Hill.
The sheer number of UAP reports emphasizes increased public engagement rather than a spike in activity, yet confusion often arises from common explanations like balloons and birds.
With 118 cases resolved, many remain open for further analysis.
As former NASA official Michael Gold suggested, “But there is a percentage that isn’t. And looking into those anomalies is how discoveries will be made.”
In 2025, AARO plans to refine its global outreach and partnerships, demonstrating a commitment to unveiling these mysteries.
As Americans await answers, one can’t help but wonder what surprises might be concealed in the not-so-friendly skies.

The Pentagon and the DNI have released the annual report on UFO sightings and while they still haven't found any extraterrestrial origin for the more than 700 new reports that came in last year, there are about two dozen that have piqued their curiosity. https://t.co/SPV8NdjpNf pic.twitter.com/EungWZK5Vm
