(DailyEmailNews.com) – Due to his evident anti-Israel bias, the Israeli government has banned United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres from entering the country.
Israel’s decision comes as a direct response to Guterres’ failure to condemn Iran’s recent missile attack on Israel.
The Jewish state’s decision to ban Guterres comes from long-lasting frustrations with the UN chief’s conduct, which they believe consistently undermines Israel’s interests.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz declared Guterres “persona non grata,” sending a clear message that the nation will no longer tolerate perceived partiality toward its enemies.
Katz slammed Guterres for failing to denounce atrocities committed by Hamas and for not leading efforts to declare them a terrorist organization.
The ban comes at a time of growing tensions in the region. Iran recently launched at least 180 missiles into Israel, escalating the conflict to dangerous new levels.
Instead of condemning this unashamed act of aggression, Guterres chose to call for a ceasefire, which critics consider inadequate and view as the UN’s bias against Israel.
The Israeli government’s frustration with Guterres is not without merit. The UN chief has repeatedly called for ceasefires in Gaza and between Israel and Lebanon, ignoring Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorist threats.
I condemn the broadening of the Middle East conflict with escalation after escalation.
This must stop.
We absolutely need a ceasefire.

As tensions continue to rise, Israel has taken proactive measures to protect its citizens.
The Israeli military has warned people to evacuate 24 villages in southern Lebanon as it expects potential conflicts with Hezbollah, an Iran-backed terrorist organization.
While the international community calls for restraint and the EU and UN urge de-escalation, it is clear that Israel stands largely alone in its fight against terrorism and aggression.
By banning Guterres, Israel is demanding a reassessment of the organization’s approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and broader Middle East issues.
The UN’s failure to support Israel in the face of Iranian aggression is a clear reminder of why the United States must go back to displaying a strong, independent foreign policy.
