Even CNN Says Walz Must Apologize for THIS!

KAMALA HARRIS / TIM WALZ

(DailyEmailNews.com) – Democrats know they’ve messed up badly when even their propaganda media pillars urge them to apologize – as has just become the case with a CNN panel urging the left’s vice-presidential nominee, Tim Walz, to issue an apology for misstating his military rank.

During a CNN panel discussion on Thursday, experts pressed Walz to issue an apology for inaccuracies regarding his military service.

A group of fifty congressional Republicans, all with military backgrounds, had previously called on Walz to address what they termed “egregious misrepresentations” of his 24-year tenure in the Army National Guard.

These Republicans contended that Walz falsely presented himself as a “Retired Command Sergeant Major,” a title he purportedly did not earn due to unmet requirements.

CNN’s political commentators—David Urban, Van Jones, and Alyssa Farah Griffin—on the program “CNN News Central,” unanimously agreed that it would be in Walz’s best interest politically to acknowledge his errors.

“I want to hear Tim Walz stand up and explain to me why he said for 20 plus years that he was a retired command sergeant major when he wasn’t… He owes an apology to, I think, the people in the military,” Urban remarked.

“Just say, ‘look, I made a mistake. I shouldn’t have said that. I’m owning up to it,’” he added.

Jones emphasized the necessity of rectifying the situation.

“He has to clean that up. He does. And I think it’s actually on brand for him to say, ‘you know what, I got a little bit full of myself and said some stuff that wasn’t true,’” Jones said.

“‘And if my student did that, I want my student to correct it and I’m going to correct it and I think it’d actually enhance him … We’re in a business where people think if you’re just honest, we all sometimes posh up a story here and there. But now you’re on a main stage and get caught on it. Just cough up the fur ball so we can move on from this issue,” he elaborated.

According to The New York Times, Walz did serve as a command sergeant major during the final weeks of his National Guard career but retired as a master sergeant after failing to complete the requisite coursework.

His rival, Republican vice-presidential candidate J.D. Vance, a former Marine, has further accused Walz of “stolen valor” for claiming to have handled weapons of war despite lacking combat experience.
