Dems Claim THIS Will Save Biden?

(DailyEmailNews.com) – Seeing the party falling behind the Republican Party in several key battleground states, senior Democrats are tampering down their expectations for this year’s presidential election.

They recognize that Joe Biden faces an uphill battle to score wins in Arizona and Georgia where his approval ratings have gone downhill.

Nonetheless, they are banking on Biden’s manufacturing policies and abortion rights to prop his position up on the “blue wall” states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Committee Chair Debbie Stabenow (MI) said these states were critical and cited Biden’s alleged commitment to energize American manufacturing as a key campaign focus.

Stabenow claimed that Biden had a genuine interest in bringing jobs back to America in comparison to past administrations’ unfulfilled promises, portraying Biden as a champion for the middle class with a direct appeal to blue-collar workers.

Recent polls suggest a highly competitive race, with former President Donald Trump leading in Michigan and both candidates neck and neck in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

In 2016, Trump’s appeal to working-class voters and Hilary Clinton’s neglect of Michigan and Wisconsin translated into Democratic losses.

However, the Democratic Party remains optimistic about Biden’s prospects in these battleground states, claiming potential success due to historical voting patterns and the importance of abortion.

Strategist Steve Schale asserted that Democrats have a stronger infrastructure in the Midwest than in newer battlegrounds like Arizona and Georgia.

He also stressed the need for Democrats to tread carefully due to the unpredictable nature of electoral shifts.

The significance of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin extends beyond their historical voting patterns: Biden’s economic policies have been tailored specifically to energize his base in these states.

Specifically, the administration’s inflation-inducing legislative efforts, including the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the CHIPS and Science Act and the Inflation Reduction Act, have all been efforts to improve Democratic sagging poll rates.

Acknowledged the competitive nature of the upcoming election, Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-NM) and Sen. Peter Welch (D-VT) both said they were confident that Biden’s economic message and abortion rights are key factors in retaining the blue wall.
