(DailyEmailNews.com) – Putting the extreme left’s true nature on full display, a man from Illinois physically assaulted Rep. Nancy Mace on Capitol grounds because of her efforts to protect women’s rights.
The attack, linked to Mace’s proposed legislation to preserve single-sex facilities, underscores the escalating threats conservative politicians face for standing up for traditional values.
U.S. Capitol Police swiftly arrested 33-year-old James McIntyre for assaulting Mace in the Rayburn House Office Building.
Mace, a vocal advocate for women’s rights and safety, recently introduced a bill to ban transgender individuals from using restrooms that align with their gender identity on Capitol Hill.
Despite sustaining minor injuries requiring a wrist brace and ice for her arm, Mace remains firm in her mission.
Mace stated, “I was physically accosted tonight on Capitol grounds over my fight to protect women. Capitol police have arrested him. All the violence and threats keep proving our point. Women deserve to be safe. Your threats will not stop my fight for women!”
Mace’s proposed legislation has received the full support of House Speaker Mike Johnson.
The Speaker emphasized the importance of single-sex facilities and noted that unisex restrooms were available for those who choose to use them.
The assault on Mace comes in the wake of Sarah McBride’s election as the first openly transgender person in Congress.
McBride criticized Mace’s bill as a distraction from “real issues.” However, Mace firmly dismissed this criticism, stating, “Sarah McBride doesn’t get a say in this. If you’re a biological man, you shouldn’t be in women’s restrooms.”
Mace declared:
“I’m a survivor of sexual abuse, I have PTSD from the abuse I’ve suffered at the hands of a man, and it’s so weird and dangerous and perverted, this idea that it’s OK for a naked man to be in a locker room with women, it’s insanity to me, and this has got to stop.”
This violent incident serves as a reminder of the very real dangers faced by conservative lawmakers who stand up against the liberal agenda.
It also exposes the hypocrisy of those who claim to champion tolerance while resorting to physical violence against those with differing views.
