(DailyEmailNews.com) – Signaling a potential red wave in this crucial swing state, Republicans are leading the charge in North Carolina’s early voting.

With over two million votes already tallied, the GOP holds a commanding lead over Democrats in ballots cast as the state breaks all previous records.

Decision Desk HQ reports that Republicans have cast 789,046 ballots compared to Democrats’ 772,921, with unaffiliated voters casting 735,117 ballots.

This Republican lead comes as North Carolina shatters its previous early voting records.

The surge began on October 17, the first day of early voting, when 353,166 ballots were cast, surpassing the 2020 record of 348,559.

Donald Trump Jr., who has been actively campaigning across key states, observed high voter turnout even in areas devastated by natural disasters.

“I saw the same thing in North Carolina. I was visiting some of the places that the hurricane destroyed. And, you know, I didn’t even want to ask them what they’re doing about voting,” Trump Jr. stated.

“And it turns out, Yancy County, where I was, where I saw incredible damage, where FEMA was totally missing. I mean, these people are voting in record numbers,” he added.

“They lost loved ones. They lost homes, and they’re like, they would crawl through broken glass right now to vote because they understand their government is failing…so people are getting it. We just can’t take anything for granted,” Trump Jr. concluded.

The early voting period is set to end on November 2, giving Republicans a final opportunity to solidify their lead before Election Day.

With the RealClearPolitics average showing Trump ahead by 0.8% in North Carolina, every vote could be crucial in securing a Republican victory in this battleground state.

As the early voting period enters its final days, the message is clear: conservative voters are energized, engaged and ready to make their voices heard at the ballot box.
