As part of President Donald Trump’s stunning “Operation Take Back America,” federal agencies made 133 arrests in a liberal stronghold.
The coordinated raids across western, central, and northern New York removed dangerous individuals who had illegally infiltrated American communities.
Specifically, the operation targeted illegal aliens, including three convicted murderers and several violent criminals.
This successful move shows that the Trump administration is keeping its promise to protect Americans from criminal aliens.
In collaboration with multiple federal agencies such as the FBI, DEA, CBP, ATF, and others, ICE conducted the week-long operation, mainly targeting Buffalo and Rochester, where 84 illegal aliens were apprehended.
An additional 49 were arrested in Syracuse, Albany, Rouses Point, and Massena regions, showcasing the widespread nature of the illegal immigration problem across New York state.
The operation revealed disturbing criminal histories among many of those arrested.
Twenty had existing criminal records, including three convicted murderers who had been living freely among law-abiding New Yorkers.
Other arrests included individuals convicted of sexual conduct with a child, manslaughter, assault, drug-related offenses, and child pornography.
Among those apprehended was South African citizen Marcell M. Meyer, who was arrested for distributing and possessing child pornography.
Nine of the arrested individuals were foreign nationals who had previously been deported but had illegally re-entered the country, highlighting the revolving door created by weak border policies.
ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations Buffalo Acting Deputy Field Office Director Philip Rhoney declared:
“By leveraging our federal partnerships and intelligence-driven investigations, ICE continues to carry out its mission in a way that best serves national security, public safety and border security. I am grateful for the professionalism, dedication and support from all of our partners during this week-long operation to remove dangerous alien offenders from our New York communities.”
The operation went beyond individual arrests. Authorities executed four criminal search warrants targeting locations harboring illegal aliens, resulting in multiple bookings, records seizures, and 18 additional administrative arrests for immigration law violations.
These raids exposed networks supporting illegal immigration and associated criminal activities.
“The success of this enhanced enforcement operation underscores the importance of utilizing a whole-of-government approach when protecting the public from criminal aliens and dangerous individuals living in our western, central, and northern New York communities,” said ICE Homeland Security Investigations Buffalo Special Agent in Charge Erin Keegan.
This New York operation is part of President Trump’s larger initiative to target illegal immigration, drug cartels, and human trafficking networks nationwide.
Since January 20, the administration has deported over 100,000 illegals and arrested 113,000 others as part of its mass deportation efforts, fulfilling a key campaign promise.
Americans are encouraged to report suspicious activity and crimes to ICE through their hotline or online tip form, empowering citizens to participate in securing their communities.
The success of this operation demonstrates how properly empowered federal agencies can effectively protect American communities when political obstacles are removed.
